Back across the pond. Had exciting days in West Lafayette. Gus graduates. Irene was so kind to put us up and Brenda for bunking my mother and Lili. Mom liked Brenda so much she did not want to leave. We had a wonderful dinner at Red Seven just before graduation. The weather looked nice but you never know. The graduations at Purdue had been going on for days. We were slotted at Elliot Hall, Business and Agriculture over 1000 to cross the stage. Long night. Gus looked great. We finally got out of the hall at 10:00 and meet the graduate at the Bell Tower, he was all smiles.
Irene hosted a grand party for Gus on Saturday at her house and we got to see all his friends and ours. Great to visit with everyone from Gus's second grade teacher to neighbors on Rockland.
Gus graduated with a business degree from Purdue Krannert Buisness School major in Supply Chain Management. Now Gus is off to San Francisco to find a job. He is excited! So are we! Great going Gus!
