The adventure continues. Yes I am working hard or is that hardly working. I am getting more and more responsibilities at work and the projects are fun and interesting. I really enjoy working with motivated people. I told my boss the other day that if you did not want it to get done don't ask me to do it. These Brits have a way of procrastination i really don't understand. So far I am ahead of the curve.
Medieval Wall in Bath
Bath was a fabulous place, the history just swirls around like the steam and pores out of every nook and cranny. We started with a walking tour around the medieval wall of the city, Jane Austin's house, the Assembly Halls where they gathered in Janes books, and then did the Roman Baths and the Tea room, chandelier to die for.
This is Caesar over looking the baths.
We will have to bath in the pools next time. Picked up lunch at the covered market, Gus got a faggot for lunch(meatball) and we picnicked on the green over looking the weir on the River Avon. What abeautiful day.
Then we went off to Avebury to see the standing stones of the pagans. Gus praised the gods of old from a top the stones.
No stop in England would not be complete without a pub stop. We had dinner at the Red Lion, the only pub that is in the middle of a standing stones circle. We discovered the magnetic field was doing strange things with our silverware but no time travel.

Now we decided to go south and see what we could find. So we headed to Portsmouth. There was a very old castle that had been around since the Roman times and served as a place for Kings and queens and prisoners, amazing how the castle serves both at about the same cost to the people.
Then off to the harbor to see thhe Spinaker Tower, they were repeling from thhe top. Amazing.
